Every piece begins with the leather. We choose hides for their grain, depth and the way they will age, because a good piece should look better in ten years than on the day it arrives.
The Atelier
A house built on patience.
Alcavare makes leather bags, belts, wallets and everyday essentials by hand, in small numbers. We are not interested in more. We are interested in better: pieces made carefully enough to be carried for decades, and simple enough never to go out of style.

The Hand
Our artisans cut, stitch and shape each piece by hand. It takes longer, and we would not have it any other way.

The Finish
Edges are burnished and every piece is inspected by eye before it carries the Alcavare name. Anything less does not leave the atelier.
Where it is made
Made in Pakistan, by hand.
Every Alcavare piece is made by artisans in Pakistan, a country with a long tradition of working leather. We say so plainly on every product, because knowing where something is made, and by whom, is part of what makes it worth owning.
